	Dean’s Message

	Welcome to the institution that serves many people from all parts of the world! AMA International University-Bahrain has been growing in terms of its populace and the services it offers. Each academic year it caters to the quality education needs of students who hunger for information or knowledge.

	As the Dean of the university’s College of Administrative and Financial Services (CAFS), I would like to express my sincerest greetings, as well as let you know about the college’s Master of Business Administration program. The program aims to provide students with knowledge and skills informed by multi-cultural perspective. The students’ decision-making capabilities profit from their possession of functional business foundations. Their analytical, communication, technological skills, and leadership skills enabling them to meet the challenges of today's global business.

	Specifically, the program intends to produce graduates who are able to utilize appropriate data analysis and decision-making tools, relative to human resource management, project management, and management in general; evaluate the diversity of marketing strategies employed by successful firms and various business organizations; establish linkages with international business organizations; observe ethics in business operations management; engage in industry analysis with competence; develop concepts, tools, and techniques essential to accurate diagnosis and enhancement of international enterprise performance; evaluate structural and cultural challenges that confront international managers; and delineate the key attributes of successful professionals.

	We at CAFS, thus, invite you to join us and enjoy your journey towards earning your degree. Rest assured that our unique way of serving you in particular, and the global community in general stresses learning experiences that prepare you for the future you desire.

	About the College The College of Administrative and Financial Sciences offers two undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Science in International Studies (BSIS), Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics (BSBI); and one graduate degree program, Master of Business Administration (MBA). The BSIS is a multi-disciplinary program to develop professionals and leaders for sensitive positions in local and international governance relative to peace and security building and diplomacy. It provides global intelligence through exposure and appreciation of various socio-economic and political contexts, allowing the students to be sensitive and responsive to both local and international developments. The BSBI program generally provides active learning and business acumen through quality instruction, research and extension to students. It is a hybrid of the traditional business programs and information technology. It develops professionals equipped with quality and globally recognized IT-based business education essential for sound administrative and business decisions in local and global corporate environments. The MBA program is an advanced business education curriculum that aims to develop leaders and decision-makers through applied business education under a multi-cultural learning environment. It capacitates student-professionals through various learning methods, including business research and group dynamics that enables them to act in response to the corporate demands of today’s businesses.
	Goals To produce professionals, leaders and future experts who have a deep understanding of information management applied in business. To equip business graduates with theoretical, analytical and practical skills and apply them in making sound administrative and business decisions in the global corporate environment. To instill among the graduates a business mindset that will assist them discern the dynamics of enterprise and pursue satisfying business careers.
