The AMA International University will launch the 2nd phase of its advanced structural development plan to expand its footprints in the gulf region. This is in line with its global vision to provide a more sophisticated quality of service to Bahrain and the whole world. The institution’s ambition to provide quality education in the Middle East has gone beyond its borders that gave birth to the realization of the expansion plan through the leadership of the owner-founder Ambassador Amable R. Aguiluz V.
The plan will venture into a high class learning facility structure development which will highlight the strategic importance of world class educational environment and to develop a much greater level of interest in the community. With such an increasing diverse population of students, the plan will then absolutely ensure quality support services to them.
The proposed phase two development plan of the university includes the establishment of an administration building, sports building, half football field, and a five-level parking building. These structures will be interconnected with bridges to provide support and facility.
The all glass-walled administration building will showcase comfortable lounge area, customer-friendly administrative offices and well-equipped faculty rooms. The sports building will cater to students’ various sports genres and interests to emphasize the University’s remarkable concern to students’ non-curricular activities that are necessary to their holistic development while they are honed in the University. The plan will likewise include a VIP hall, a multi-purpose hall, a basketball court and lockers all to sit in the sports building adjacent to the open half football field.
Atop the much larger project at the half of the acre compound will house a fully air-conditioned five-storey parking structure conceived for a more convenient and spacious parking lot making it accessible for students, staff and visitors alike. This effort combines innovative architecture with the technologies to minimize waste of space. It is a demonstration of AMA’s vision for how society could maximize the use and develop limited spaces yet being able to provide optimum service.
The approval of the phase two development plan is a shared philosophy of excellence to the locals of the gulf whose common objective is to steward to better education of its future generation.
Ambassador Aguiluz V in his June 2009 visit stressed, “We are very happy that we are about to do justice to the commendable blue print. We at the academe realize that irrespective of where we are located, we are really more than ready to serve because AMA wants to remain closely associated with every new student in the gulf region.”
Though phase two has still to come at the second half of the calendar year, the University continues to provide education to more than 3,800 students from around the gulf region to experience the unequalled expertise of highly competent professors.
Like any other owner-founder, Ambassador Aguiluz V hopes to gain more and more trust from the country service areas; hence, he aims always to empower both the academic and administrative personnel to materialize the mission, vision and goals of the University and to lead other private institutions towards excellence being the largest private educational institution in Bahrain.
The administration said that the plan, to be completed for a year or two, will reap greater advantage not only for AMAIU but also to the entire gulf. The institution hopes to gain more trust from the globe. It is the goal of the University to bridge the locals to the thousands of business establishments in the country. Thus, sustainability of its goals and concerted efforts in providing the much-needed training and education of its client catering to the globe’s business environment is certainly of great priority.
Thus, the AMA’s response to globally competitive education and training is the soon-to-be a well-engineered, “comfortable, safe, and quality” facility, timeless values and efforts associated with the genuine culture of excellence and success of the country and the whole world. The 21st century is the most perfect era for AMA to invest to its client to further develop exceptional leadership of tomorrow and to establish a sanctuary of corporate frontiers and a seat of business incubation ahead of time.
