Colorful bantings, enticing carnival rides, food galore, multicolored motorcade, and energy-boosting games flooded the university grounds as AMAIUB celebrated its three-day Sports Fest 2010 from March 24 to 26.
The first day of the festival kicked off by student-packed grand opening ceremony featuring the hosting of unit banners, cheering competition and the lighting of torch headed by respective student leaders and muses of different colleges.
Ms. Buena Gracia A. Canzana, university administrator and Dr. Emelin M. Magada , head of Academic Affairs led the ceremony with warm words of welcome and encouragement for the students and faculty to enjoy the celebration.
Under the heat of dessert sun, Engr. Warren Joseph M. Moises, head of facilities, assisted the guests in the tossing of ball to start the competition.
Day two was punctuated by bazaar opening, free carnival rides, a series of quiz shows and indoor and outdoor games.
The day was ended with live band and dance performances.
The third day drew more spectators as the car enthusiasts ramped away their cars of different models and designs. People from various groups flocked around AMAIUB grounds to view the sea of cars queueing along the university car park.
Concluding the last day of the celebration was the awarding ceremonies attended by university officials, faculty, employees and guest who cheered for the winners.
