On the auspicious celebration of the 49th National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a group of first year students of AMA International University-Bahrain thought of shooting a documentary film for their final project in the course HIST400 (History of Bahrain and GCC Region).
Their video can be accessed via YouTube: https://youtu.be/89WwG0xerWc.
Dalal Salah Rashed, Hussain Ali Mohammed and Mariam Bahram, Bachelor of Science in International Business students; Omar Abdulla Yusuf, Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics student; and Mohammed Almoqahwi and Fajer Sayed Mohamed, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, collaboratively came up with an in-course project worthy of commendation with the guidance of their course teacher, Dr. Leila Kahouli. According to Dr. Leila, the students are enthusiastic while shooting the film and that after completion, such experience is an avenue for them to better appreciate the topics that they learned from the course. With this project, they wish to inspire other students to take the pledge of making the Kingdom of Bahrain proud through hard work, dedication, and commitment to education.
The group is also grateful for the exciting experience and time they had spent with Mr. Mohammed Yasin, a well-known Bahraini actor.
