Community Engagement at AMAIUB is where students, faculty, staff, alumni and community organizations can exchange information, resources and referrals for community service and service learning opportunities. Through our events and service-learning programs, all members of the campus community have opportunities to contribute to the health and well-being of their surrounding environment by engaging with Bahrain and beyond as we draw strength for our diverse surroundings and contribute to them as partners and resources.
Furthermore, the projects provided would serve as a vehicle for personal growth and leadership, while encouraging active and responsible membership in neighboring communities. The Community Extension Office broadens the scope of educational experience through service and reflection. External Engagement (EE) offers both one time and on-going service opportunities that address the critical needs of the community through meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships. All of the programs and events are designed to challenge participants to reflect upon their own commitment to social justice and empower them toward solutions.
